What times and temperatures should I set on my Kjeldahl to determine the protein in the IDF/SDF filter bags?
We have found that it is best to slowly ramp up the digestion temperatures so that foaming in the digestion tubes is minimized. As a result, we would suggest the following times and temperatures: : Preheat to 200°C; Clear at 300°Cfor 15min; Digest at 420°C for 105min; Cool for 30min.
